TRANSITION TIMETABLE FOR 2009
All children starting school next year are welcome to participate in our Transition Program. Below is a schedule of sessions when children can attend our school and experience school life. These sessions provide excellent opportunities for children to prepare for the transition from kindergarten to school and for our teachers to get to know your child. We look forward to seeing you there!

Dear Parents,
I would like to introduce myself to you. My name is Liz Watkins and I am the Principal of Mulgrave Primary School. Our school is modern, stimulating, extremely well resourced and filled with happy, dedicated teachers and students. I extend a warm welcome to you to come and attend an Information Morning or make a time with me to have a “tour and a talk” and see the school for yourself.
Mulgrave Primary School has a long history and is renowned for providing students with high quality education. I am committed to building upon the school’s fine reputation and encourage you to come and visit me so that I can talk to you about my passion and experience in ensuring that students in my care receive the best education possible. I can assure you that your child’s individual needs will be evaluated and addressed.
Teaching Staff at the school are highly motivated and experienced. Programs are carefully planned to incorporate all aspects of the new Victorian Essential Learning Standards. All students participate in Specialist Programs in the areas of Art, Music, Physical Education and Information Computer Technology. We also offer Reading Recovery and Additional Assistance programs for students who require extra support. Our school has a choir and we offer extra curricula activities such as musical instrument tuition. The school currently has an After School Hours Care program.
