Principal's Message....................

As Principal of Mulgrave Primary, I am very proud of the school and its community. Our school is set on beautiful, exceptionally spacious grounds with lots of room for children to play and interact with each other. Facilities at the school have been very much upgraded over the past year. Our new Performing Arts and Science centre is now in operation and will be providing students with excellent opportunities to expand their learning. Facilities at the school are excellent. Each classroom has a fixed interactive whiteboard that provides teachers with a powerful tool to both inspire and motivate students to be engaged in their learning. We also have a generous number of computers in each classroom, as well as having an excellent computer lab that caters for the needs of a whole grade of students.

The school's environmental features are very pleasing. We have beautiful gardens, an environmental area and vegetable garden, as well as quality play equipment, sports grounds, newly surfaced basketball courts and a new sandpit.

As Principal, I am passionate about ensuring that all of our students have the best opportunities to reach their full individual potentials, preparing them for the future. At Mulgrave Primary School, we have a strong focus on Literacy and Numeracy to ensure that all children have the fundamentals of learning established. We focus on catering for individual needs and work closely with our families on the learning journey.

Transition Programs for children due to start Prep in 2012 will commence in term two. We pride ourselves in providing a quality transition program that ensures children are well-prepared and confident when they embark on their first experience of schooling.
