Welcome to Mulgrave Primary School’s website. As Principal of Mulgrave Primary, I am very proud of the school and its community.  Our school is set on beautiful, spacious grounds with lots of room for children to play and interact with each other. Facilities at the school include a gym, computer lab, refurbished library and brick permanent classrooms.

I was appointed in mid-2008 and have been working closely with the whole school community to ensure that we provide the best teaching and learning opportunities possible for our students. I am passionate about ensuring that the learning needs of all students are met in a safe, harmonious environment.

This year the major focus areas for our school are Literacy, Numeracy and ICT (Information Communications Technology).  In 2009 we are enhancing the computer technology skills of both staff and students by using interactive whiteboards in the classroom. We are also participating in the Digital Excellence Program across the whole school. The components of this program will be integrated into all areas of the curriculum. Our curriculum is based on the Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS).
